Just thought that seeing as each Jdbc Driver and Datasource etc should implement this method, it might provide useful information. If this could be turned on/off using the properties file and routed to the p6spy log file, it could provide some extra information in certain circumstances (e.g. when using non-JDBC methods that p6spy does not log)
Of course, any other normal setLogWriter call would have to be intercepted and then any output for this logwriter may have to go to the p6spy logfile and to the one the program running specified.
