    That's what it does, I got two usb serial devices, one prolific & one aten, both stop working. The timestamps at 4:55 are because that's when Indigo tries to 'reset interface connections' (= disconnect and reconnect CM11A which is connected via usb serial). Only thing to do to get the serials working again is reboot, unpluggin/plugging devices wont help, kext wont unload etc.

    I switched to official prolific driver, the above hasn't happened since, so I guess there's something it does differently. But, the official driver doesn't support aten vendor/product id - it'd be nice to get both dongles working 'out of the box'.
