Tried installing device driver, but does not appear to be functioning. No device shows up in /dev, either with or without Radioshack # 26-183 plugged into USB port. Additional information follows.
Thanks for any suggestions you might have. I appreciate your help.

I checked through the source code and verified that vendor 0x05ad / product 0x0fba pair was not in the .plist. Please add these in the next release.
In the meantime, if I wanted to rebuild the driver from the sources under XCode, would I just need to duplicate one of the other device descriptions and substitute this vendor/product pair before rebuilding?
