    Hello,

    Installed osx-pl2303-0.2.1-10.4-universal on a Macbook (10.4.6), for an ATEN adapter Product ID: 0x2008 Vendor ID: 0x0557 (don't know the model name: the label has come off, but I can see the ATEN name through the semi-transparent plastic case http://www.altronics.com.au/images/prod/D/D2340.gif\).

    The driver works very well, including BREAK. Thanks!

    I was initially put off by the following in system.log when plugging in the device:
    Jun 14 20:11:55 hutch kernel[0]: USBF:    170.505    IOUSBCompositeDriver[0x4da8500] Could not open device (USB-Serial Controller)

    Presumably this is harmless?

    Thanks again,
    Ben

      It is ugly but harmless. At the moment I don't know how to solve it. And if you look at the osx_pl2303.cpp file you can notice the following comment:

      * Todo:
      * - Implementation Powermanagement
      * - Fix USBF: Could not open device: Strange error message
