I have attempted to install under 10.4.7. System will
hang on reboot and a forced power cycle is needed to
recover. Driver does not load after the reboot.

Tried to manually load the driver and received the
following:

X:/System/Library/Extensions hickey$ sudo kextload -t
release-osx-10.3.x.kext/
kernel extension release-osx-10.3.x.kext/ has problems:
Validation failures:
{
"Info dictionary missing required property/value" = (
"OSBundleLibraries"
)
}
Warnings:
{
"Kext has a kernel dependency prior to version 6.0
and CFBundleIdentifier does not match executable's
MODULE_NAME" = true
}

    Can you try the 10.4 release package?
    I will try to implement a release check in the installer.

    Sorry. I downloaded the file named universal, but absently
    thought that it was only for Intel. Since I as loading the
    driver on a PPC platform, I jumped to the conclusion that I
    needed the 10.3 driver that you had posted.

    Removed all old kernel extensions and rebooted. Then I
    loaded the 10.4 driver. The system still did not want to
    reboot (waited about 6 mins before powering off system).
    Everything worked as expected after the reboot. Hung reboot
    is a small price to pay to get the driver installed.

    Thanks for you help.
