I installed OSG max exporter 1.0.1 in MAX 2011. The readme file states that only MAX 2010 or older is supported. Is this true?
Users on the forum say that they have it working in 2011. It will create an osg or ive file, but when I open that file in an OSG viewer it crashes the viewer. The viewer works fine with files made from an older version of MAX.

The readme is just out of date. The exporter should support Max 2012 and older.
A couple questions:
1) Are you using the 32-bit or 64-bit version of the exporter?
2) Which version of OSG are you using to view the file?
3) Can you provide either the max file or the exported ive/osg file?
Also, try disabling optimizations when viewing the file. I've seen certain optimizations (tri-strip geometry) cause crashes in the past.
