We are trying to include in one scene some copies of objects. But when we copy the object and export the scene to an .ive file, the 3dmax is using various models intead of only one and use a PAT to set the new position.
Is there any way in the osgExp to set a lot of objects using only one model for everything?
If I'm understanding you correctly, you'll want to do an "instance clone" in 3ds Max.
If you hold the shift key while moving an object, when you release the mouse you'll get cloning options. If you do an "instance" instead of a "copy" in this dialog, the resultant OSG file will simply reference the original object in the generated instance, and not create a lot of duplicate geometry.
I hope that answers your question. I am unclear what you mean by "various models", but I think you mean duplicates of the original.
