In theory, I've changed the mailman interface so that subscribers automatically get through, and /everything/ else is held for admission. This should hopefully fix the spam problem to just us poor admins, and we were already dealing with quite a lot regards john |

Going to the sourceforge site to wade through a pile of 80% spam is an unpleasent task. IMHO it is much more miserable than just deleting the spam as it arrives in your inbox. (and if you do ignore it, you've cut off bug reports) |

At least in my Gmail account I have a filter that adds a label to the mail coming from this list, and apparently that makes skip the spam check. So people with this setup, people with no spam filters, and the SF mail archive will benefit from this. There's also the option to ask for a feature request in SF, but could we please just try this for a while? -- Felipe Contreras |

Actually no, we are often emailed and this must remain an option. Anyway, it's not that much work to discard all the spam. We'll cope. regards john |
