Effective immediately, there are some changes in the maintainership of
OProfile as follows:
Maynard Johnson has taken on overall maintainership of OProfile.
Ultimate responsibility of the management of the project, project
submissions, and releases lies with Maynard. Obviously, an 'OK' from
Maynard is now sufficient to commit a change.
Daniel Hansel will look after the JIT support.
Robert Richter has agreed to be the contact point for all OProfile
Richard Purdie has agreed to review ARM-specific changes, as well as
continuing his maintainership role of the OProfile GUI and related
Also effective immediately, all contributors to OProfile are asked to
read and agree to a Developer's Certificate of Origin. This can be found
in section 1.11 here:
As this has been in place for Linux kernel work for some time, this will
hopefully prove non-controversial.
I will still be around as much as I can, too.
Thanks a lot to the above people for volunteering to help out. I also
welcome other people who wish to help out, in an informal or formal
