errm it compiles with 2.95 too and it was possible to compile it
with 2.91, at least on x86 5/6 month ago but I no longer test it,
is the 3.0 or above needed a specific arm thingies ?

unrelated I crashed an HD a few days ago and recovery was painfull, I missed lkml/oprofile lists from 4/5 days.
