Onepoint Project 8.1 Update 2 Released

The new Update 2 for Onepoint Project 8.1 Basic & Open Edition summarizes all the bug fixes and database upgrading improvements we did over the past two months. The most important aspect of Update 2 is the improved migration procedure from Release 8 databases.

We did a lot of changes to the database schema in Release 8.1 in order to improve external reporting capabilities. As expected, migration from older databases did not always go absolutely smoothly. However, we were able to get all our strategic customers already onto the new database schema and all changes we did to support migration are now also part of our open source versions.... read more

Onepoint Project 8.1 Released

After some delays due to a very busy fourth quarter we were able to keep our promise and deliver Onepoint Project 8.1 Basic & Open on the evening of the 23rd of December. Please note that this is very clearly *before* Christmas... ;-)

Anyway, we hope that you like our new release: Onepoint Project is open source commercial project leadership software designed to be very easy to setup and to use. Most features of release 8.1 are "under the hood" as we did make quite some changes to the underlying data model. This was also the main reason why we did not release 8.1 final to the open source community, but waited until Update 1 was finished which gave us some time to run a number of in-house upgrading tests.... read more

The Onepoint Team is happy to announce the long-awaited release 8 of Onepoint Project Basic & Open Edition. The new release features not so many new major features, but many important changes under the hood. In addition, the new version includes about 100 minor improvements around usability and data visualization.

The most important change of Onepoint Project 8 is the totally rewritten progress-tracking functionality: We have analyzed and re-implemented all algorithms in this area and are confident that this functionality is now reliable and stable. We got excellent feedback here from existing and prospective clients as well as from the open source community which helped us a lot in identifying the problems and in testing potential solutions. Thank you for your support in this area.... read more

Onepoint Project 07 Update 4 released

We are happy to announce the final update (Update 4) to Onepoint Project 07 Open and Basic editions -- the next version to be released will be Onepoint Project 7.1. This update fixes primarily some issues with work slips and progress tracking as well as some minor user interface issues.
