Hi all, for two days (or I should say nights) I'm trying to copy root to my SD card on my collie (OZ 3.5.4 Opie). There is virtually no step by step HOWTO for this. On the sourceforge site there is a hint that the rboot scripts are history (up to 3.5.3) and that one has to use altboot instead. On http://hentges.net/tmp/screenshots/Zaurus/Akita/Altboot/install-tgz/ are further hints how to install the rootfs.tar.gz file. I deviated a bit from this as I didn't install directly on the SD card but by creation of a boot image (loopback). But I also tried to install it directly to the card without success. I always get the following messages after booting with the altboot option #3 "Boot SD card": Mounting rootfs rw...ok Note: /proc is already mounted Generating device files...ok Loading SD kernel module...ok Mounting /media/card...ok Note: No INIT [/sbin/init.sysvinit] found on target Using opie-image-rootfs.bin Setting up loopback (/dev/loop0) for opie-image-rootfs.bin * * * Booting rootfs image * * * Pivoting root...Success /etc/altboot-menu/15-bootSD: 384: test: not found mount: /proc/mounts: No suchg file or directory /etc/altboot-menu/15-bootSD: 384: awk: not found Calling INIT exec: 384: /usr/sbin/chroot: not found ... and then it hangs Any ideas ? A step by step instruction on the web for end users would be great !! Stefan |
