No

When custom page numbers (PAGE DAISY style) are present in the document between list items, the document during translation to XML shows validation errors. The XML file reveals that the closing LIST TAG is not applied at all or is applied incorrectly.

Typical error message is: DAISY Translator - Validation Error
Translation failed, and translated document is invalid.
Summary: The \'level2\' start tag on line 46 does not match the end tag of \'list\'. Line 53, position 8

Same behaviour was noticed on Word 2007, Word 2010 & Word 2003. English, Hindi, Marathi & Japanese documents have been tested.
Sample documents are attached.

This is resolved in the current build.

Does not currently implement the 'start' attribute
    http://www.daisy.org/z3986/structure/archive-SG-DAISY2005/biblio.htm#reference_0017
This means that lists will not restart numberring when they are spanned across multiple pages. If tis is required a new issue should be opened for a future release.

We have no implemented the 'start' attribute on lists such that they will split across pages and restart at the correct number.

This issue has been resolved to a great extent with the Nov 2011 installer & updated Pipeline-lite files.
