Hi everyone! A new version of OpenXDAS has been made available on sf.net: http://openxdas.sourceforge.net/downloads.html This version fixes a high processor utilization defect - see the openxdas-devel list for details. It also updates the client library interface slightly to bring it more in alignment with the original XDAS specification. Functions that accepted a handle to an xdas opaque entity, such as a session or a record are now passed by address if there is any chance that the function will close the handle. This way, when the developer is notified by a returned status code that the record is no longer needed, or has been properly committed, the handle is also returned as zero. This allows you to continue to pass the handle to additional calls to xdas_put_event_info without crashing the process because the handle refers to invalid memory. At a later point, we would like to add true handle processing, but we've just not gotten there yet. * And don't forget about the new user/developer docs and NSure Audit conversion docs that are also available now.
