  • Please, is it possible to generate interface for DynaBean in OpenXava? The use case is that the model's properties are not known until run-time. Its properties are read from DB and its interface is drawn on the basis of these dynamic properties. Thanks in advance for your suggestion!!!

    Hi Kazeem,

unfortunately OpenXava does not support DynaBeans. However, we could add DynaBeans for future versions.

Are your mixing JPA Entities and DynaBeans in the same application?
How do you create relationships (collections or references) between dynabeans and enties? And between entities?
Where is the data of dynabeans stored? In a database?

    • Thanks Javier,
      (1) Are your mixing JPA Entities and DynaBeans in the same application? Yes, they are to be in the same application.

      (2) How do you create relationships (collections or references) between dynabeans and enties? And between entities? The use case is not yet implemented, still researching on how best to implement this, leveraging on the power of OpenXava

      (3) Where is the data of dynabeans stored? In a database? Seeking advice on how best to do this within OpenXava application or if there is any previous experience on this particular use case! Thanks once again for the support
