I came across the new Asus eeePC with touch screen over the weekend and was
wondering which vendor did they use for their touchscreen implementation.
Would you be kind to share some details for egalax and elotouch (what are
the differences between this two); which one are known good for what sort of
applications. I do have few potential ideas where these could be used
(existing kiosk displays we have facing public) and would be very much
interested to order some for testing.
I believe they provide screen filter in varying sizes (15" LCD to 24"LCD ??
not sure how the screen filter works) and it connects to the usb interface
which provides mouse-like UserInterfaceDriver.
May i know where did you purchase, and costs, for the egalax and elotouch? I
would really like to order a test unit to carry some tests on the varying
size of LCD screens we have.
I am literally very curious and would very much appreciate if you can share
some links or docs that I can learn more about these two (how it works,
screen-sizes, prices, online-payment/delivery).
I may try to help out with driver installation, as i recently installed
Canon iRC-class copier drivers to OTC.
Thank you in advance.
