Bugs item #466920, was opened at 2001-10-01 18:10 You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=110857&aid=466920&group_id=10857 Category: Script Language Group: Inconvenience >Status: Closed >Resolution: Fixed Priority: 5 Submitted By: John Dixon (jdixon) >Assigned to: Richard Clarke (rclarke) Summary: FILE variable causes test to terminate Initial Comment: A variable was created in the modeler from the Variable > Create option. The variable had a scope of Script. The definition in the script looked like: CHARACTER*512 FILEDATA, FILE ="FILEDATA", SCRIPT The data in the file was modified using the Variable>Modify option. Only the data in the file was changed. Exiting from the Variable window, the source code had been changed to: CHARACTER*512 FILEDATA, FILE ="FILEDATA", LOCAL The Variable>Modify option was then used to change the scope back to Script. This produced the following code: CHARACTER*512 FILEDATA, FILE ="FILEDATA.FVR", SCRIPT When the script was used in a test, the test finished almost immediately and the audit log only showed the script starting, nothing after that. OpenSTA version is 1.2.2, platform is Windows 2000. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Richard Clarke (rclarke) Date: 2003-02-14 01:31 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=82309 This problem was fixed in release 1.4.0. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Richard Clarke (rclarke) Date: 2001-11-19 13:38 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=82309 Investigation of this bug report revealed the following problems. All will be fixed in OpenSTA 1.3.3: 1. On Variable Modify, the file extension ".fvr" is incorrectly added to the file name in the variable File option clause. Bug in GetVarInfoFromVariable method in ModellerDoc.cpp. 2. On Variable Modify, variable options incorrectly set, e.g. Script scope variable reset to Local scope. Bug in SCLParser.cpp - File option not parsed correctly. 3. On Variable Modify, the Modeler does not recognise a ":" separator between the CHARACTER keyword and the variable size, e.g. CHARACTER:50 not valid. Bug in SCLParser.cpp. 4. The Script Modeler does not always recognise the single quote character as a valid delimiter for quoted character strings. Bug in SCL Parser.cpp. Changes yet to be committed to CVS. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=110857&aid=466920&group_id=10857 |
