I was wondering if you could help me but the alpha blend test in you "official" benchmark is reporting a score of some 2,500,000. This would seem to be incorrect/way of course.
Is this a bug, or what?
I have saved a bitmap of the results graph just e-mail me bobbyjoseph1(at)eircom.net and I will send it to you.
Overall score reports approx (2,630,000)
Thanks. Is the problem repeatable?
BTW, I will be releasing a new version of OpenSourceMark before September. There are many bug fixes and a few new features and tests.
I have run OSMark on five different systems;
three running Windows XP and two running Vista Business. Both the Vista computers report a score of 2-4 million in the Alpha Blend test, severely skewing the overall score.
One Vista test ran for almost exactly 7400 seconds while one XP test ran for just over 3600 seconds. The XP computer is really old (two years :)) and the Vista one is brand new.
The test were done using COSBI OSMark Version 1.0beta8 - VIA Edition.
Thank you. Yes, the alpha blending test seems to execute so quickly in Vista that it is wrecking the scores. I will have to address this problem before version 1.0.
