It would be usefull if I could switch the slides by mouse, just like with keyboard arrows (next, previous, next song, previous song), by clicking on the Presentations helper preview window. I have wireless mouse so its easyer then keyboard switching.
My sugestion: next/previous slide = single click, next/previous song = left + right/right + left (like in GhostScript Viewer).

This behaviour is already implemented if you focus the main presentation window (or only choose single screen presentation).

There's a program called AutoHotKey (for MS Windows) that can do this - it allows you to make a script that replaces any keypress (including mouse buttons) with any other normal key input. I've used it with opensong to alter a wireless handheld clicker to allow forward and back to work (the clicker was set to use powerpoint defaults).

Under KDE you should be able to do this with the default admin tools.
