So the project is already getting traction, and that's great. However, we want to let all of you downloading the LiveCD know that you should be pulling from SVN, or waiting for the upcoming openSIMS 1.0 beta release (which will happen in the next 7 days).
While the liveCD certainly works, the openSIMS 1.0 beta will have feature VMWare/Xen images that will make deployment far easier.

Mando has just made the first code drop into the project SVN repository. The code does build without errors, so feel free to check it out. Be warned however that the config (needed to get things up and running) is still difficult...but hey, we're working on it :)
Well, it's official. It's been 735.6 days since anyone touched the openSIMS project. Sad (very sad) but true. However, the good news is that Mando is on the case and has pulled whurley back in from outerspace.

After a long hiatus from the open source scene, the openSIMS project will be coming back over the summer of 2008 to be restored to its former glory. whurley and Mando are on the case, so what could possibly go wrong?
