I am trying to get familiar with OpenSearchServer, and can't figure out how to crawl HTTPS sites. I am getting the following error message in the logs:
"Caused by: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target"
How can I import the certificate of the site, or configure the crawler to ignore certificate errors?
Turns out this was not an OSS-specific issue, found a solution here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/9619030/resolving-javax-net-ssl-sslhandshakeexception-sun-security-validator-validatore
