Hey all. I'm trying to make my Nokia 6800 communicate with my PC (RedHat 9 with all updates) via a USB infra-red device. I get the IrDA device working just fine. It can see the phone: [manu@orient irda-utils-0.9.14]$ cat /proc/net/irda/discovery IrLMP: Discovery log: nickname: Nokia 6800, hint: 0xb125, saddr: 0x75797378, daddr: 0x00000dad I've installed openobex 1.0.1 and I've compiled openobex-apps 1.0.0 . I then try to use irxfer to transfer a .jar file from the PC to the phone. Here's what happens: [manu@orient src]$ ./irxfer ~/build/Lukkari/Lukkari.jar Send files to and receive files from win95 name=/home/manu/build/Lukkari/Lukkari.jar, size=17457 . PUT successful And here's the irdadump of it all: -- BEGIN IRDADUMP 23:11:32.963226 xid:cmd 75797378 > ffffffff S=6 s=* orient hint=0400 [ Computer ] (22) 23:11:35.423247 xid:cmd 75797378 > ffffffff S=6 s=0 (14) 23:11:35.513227 xid:cmd 75797378 > ffffffff S=6 s=1 (14) 23:11:35.603223 xid:cmd 75797378 > ffffffff S=6 s=2 (14) 23:11:35.693223 xid:cmd 75797378 > ffffffff S=6 s=3 (14) 23:11:35.783224 xid:cmd 75797378 > ffffffff S=6 s=4 (14) 23:11:35.860508 xid:rsp 75797378 < 0000c5a1 S=6 s=4 Nokia 6800 hint=b125 [ PnP Modem Fax Telephony IrCOMM IrOBEX ] (27) 23:11:35.873244 xid:cmd 75797378 > ffffffff S=6 s=5 (14) 23:11:35.963239 xid:cmd 75797378 > ffffffff S=6 s=* orient hint=0400 [ Computer ] (22) 23:11:37.468029 snrm:cmd ca=fe pf=1 75797378 > 0000c5a1 new-ca=b4 (33) 23:11:37.570182 ua:rsp ca=b4 pf=1 75797378 < 0000c5a1 (31) 23:11:37.572191 rr:cmd > ca=b4 pf=1 nr=0 (2) 23:11:37.813232 rr:cmd > ca=b4 pf=1 nr=0 (2) 23:11:37.827133 rr:rsp < ca=b4 pf=1 nr=0 (2) 23:11:37.827170 i:cmd > ca=b4 pf=1 nr=0 ns=0 LM slsap=24 dlsap=00 CONN_CMD (6) 23:11:37.841137 i:rsp < ca=b4 pf=1 nr=1 ns=0 LM slsap=00 dlsap=24 CONN_RSP (6) 23:11:37.841179 i:cmd > ca=b4 pf=1 nr=1 ns=1 LM slsap=24 dlsap=00 GET_VALUE_BY_CLASS: "OBEX:IrXfer" "IrDA:TinyTP:LsapSel" (37) 23:11:37.857133 i:rsp < ca=b4 pf=1 nr=2 ns=1 LM slsap=00 dlsap=24 GET_VALUE_BY_CLASS: Success Integer: 02 (15) 23:11:37.857184 i:cmd > ca=b4 pf=1 nr=2 ns=2 LM slsap=24 dlsap=00 DISC (6) 23:11:37.871130 rr:rsp < ca=b4 pf=1 nr=3 (2) 23:11:37.871167 i:cmd > ca=b4 pf=1 nr=2 ns=3 LM slsap=25 dlsap=02 CONN_CMD TTP credits=0(7) 23:11:37.886127 i:rsp < ca=b4 pf=1 nr=4 ns=2 LM slsap=02 dlsap=25 CONN_RSP TTP credits=0(7) 23:11:37.886167 rr:cmd > ca=b4 pf=1 nr=3 (2) 23:11:37.901126 rr:rsp < ca=b4 pf=1 nr=4 (2) 23:11:37.901160 i:cmd > ca=b4 pf=1 nr=3 ns=4 LM slsap=25 dlsap=02 TTP credits=0 OBEX CONNECT len=7 ver=1.1 flags=0 mtu=1024 (12) 23:11:37.916123 i:rsp < ca=b4 pf=1 nr=5 ns=3 LM slsap=02 dlsap=25 TTP credits=1 OBEX (5) 23:11:37.916160 rr:cmd > ca=b4 pf=1 nr=4 (2) 23:11:37.931119 rr:rsp < ca=b4 pf=1 nr=5 (2) 23:11:37.973231 rr:cmd > ca=b4 pf=1 nr=4 (2) 23:11:37.986108 rr:rsp < ca=b4 pf=1 nr=5 (2) 23:11:38.083229 rr:cmd > ca=b4 pf=1 nr=4 (2) 23:11:38.097084 rr:rsp < ca=b4 pf=1 nr=5 (2) 23:11:38.193230 rr:cmd > ca=b4 pf=1 nr=4 (2) 23:11:38.207064 rr:rsp < ca=b4 pf=1 nr=5 (2) 23:11:38.303230 rr:cmd > ca=b4 pf=1 nr=4 (2) 23:11:38.317044 rr:rsp < ca=b4 pf=1 nr=5 (2) 23:11:38.413229 rr:cmd > ca=b4 pf=1 nr=4 (2) 23:11:38.428023 i:rsp < ca=b4 pf=1 nr=5 ns=4 LM slsap=02 dlsap=25 TTP credits=0 OBEX SUCCESS len=7 ver=1.0 flags=0 mtu=1024 (12) 23:11:38.428058 rr:cmd > ca=b4 pf=1 nr=5 (2) 23:11:38.441025 rr:rsp < ca=b4 pf=1 nr=5 (2) 46 packets received by filter -- END IRDADUMP The problem is that I can't see the app anywhere in the different inboxes or in any folder or anywhere else. You must use irobex_palm3 to exchange data to/from cell phone instead, I use it with my Nokia 3650. ]s[ Claudio Miranda On 07-10-2003 20:53, Emmanuel Seyman wrote: > Hey all. > > I'm trying to make my Nokia 6800 communicate with my PC (RedHat 9 with all > updates) via a USB infra-red device.
