Hello,

I own a Sony Ericsson K810i and I'm using de_DE.UTF-8 as locale. When transfering files to the phone, the filenames are mangled if it contains umlauts. It seams as if the filenames are not translated from the local utf-8 encoding to the iso-8859-1 (latin1) encoding the phone seems to use.

I tried obexfs first and also tried obexftp. I switched the environment to iso-8859-1 and there it worked.

Thanks in advance

Matthias
