Hi all, I'm running opennms 1.8.10 and i'm struggling with "junk" characters i get in notifications messages sent via email. I have recently upgraded from opennms 1.6.10. I have thresholds configured for disk usage control on my server farm: values are correctly collected e evalueted against the threshold value, but when occurs an event and the corresponding notification is sent via Java-mail, the content ( only the content ! ) of the mail is garbled . Like this example: ..... =?us-ascii?Q?---ATTENTION----=0D=0AUn_filesystem_sul_server_?= =?us-ascii?Q?gandalf_ha_spazio_libero_al_di_sotto_del_val?= =?us-ascii?Q?ore_di_soglia_pari_a_90.0_pct.=0D=0AOra_lo_spazi?= =?us-ascii?Q?o_libero_e'_96_pct.=0D=0A+---------------+=0D=0A|_St?= =?us-ascii?Q?andard_Info_|=0D=0A+---------------+=0D=0ASeverity:_?= =?us-ascii?Q?Critical=0D=0AServer:_gandalf=0D=0AFileSystem:_/=0D=0A+-?= =?us-ascii?Q?-----------+=0D=0A|_Extra_Info_|=0D=0A+------------+?= =?us-ascii?Q?=0D=0ANotification_Time:_gioved=EC_28_aprile_2011_?= =?us-ascii?Q?9.26.58_CEST=0D=0ANotification_URL:_http://monit?= =?us-ascii?Q?or:8980/opennms/notification/detail.jsp=3Fnoti?= =?us-ascii?Q?ce=3D13838=0D=0AEvent_URL:_http://monitor:8980/ope?= =?us-ascii?Q?nnms/event/detail.jsp=3Fid=3D22151786=0D=0ANode_URL:?= =?us-ascii?Q?_http://monitor:8980/opennms/element/node.js?= =?us-ascii?Q?p=3Fnode=3D417=0D=0AResource_Graph_URL:_"http://moni?= =?us-ascii?Q?tor:8980/opennms/graph/results.htm=3Freports=3Da?= =?us-ascii?Q?ll&resourceId=3Dnode[417].dskIndex[1]"?= ..... Before the upgrade all worked fine; I left everything at default values in javamail-configuration.properties file. I noticed others have faced this strange behaviour with 1.8.10 but no-one found ( or post on the discuss-list ) a solution. Some of you have some hint on solving, or understanding, this problem ???? Maybe a bug which i have to open ?? Thanks in advance, --Andrea |
