Hi, I am putting my question in this 3months old discussion but I really need to figure out what is lacking in my configuration so that I can see links on map. Some background: I am trying to deploy OpenNMS for my office network which have so many switches, Servers and desktops. I have followed the steps defined on this page: http://www.opennms.org/index.php/Linkd and unckecked the lines of service-configuration.xml. I left the system for 12 hours but I didn't see any link on map. There is a line mentioned in the webpage "Links and data collected by Linkd can be visualized in maps and in WEB UI element section". Where is this element section? What I understand that in the menu section another menu option will be created by Linkd name or something else. Is is correct or please tell me how to visualize the links on map? Is there any option to create Links manually by using Admin rights? If still it doesn't work after making change in service-configuration.xml file then will I have to configure discovery again so that it can build the link among the Network Elements?
