I think i cant edit in rapport of this error message, if anyone can help me would be a pleasure for to tell to my Boss give you 'Donate' ( Don ?) to your project.

      Please answer me :)

      • I assume since you have a reset list link that you did not create a new modules/section_name/list.php file, but rather created the $listMeta array in your new DataObject class file.

Try adding "DO_Common::debugLevel(4);" to index.php after line 31.  That should give you more debugging information.

I don't have that \inc\pear\tests\DB\tests\driver\18get.php file you're referring to.  Are you using a 2.0 version of OpenIT?  I don't see that file in the pear directory of 2.2.

I'm having trouble understanding some of your English, so perhaps you could post in English and your native language.  I have friends that can help me with French and Spanish, and I know we have some German speakers lurking around here somewhere.  :-)

    • I'm sorry if I haven't been able to help you much.  There's a lot of places small changes need to be made in order to add a new section to OpenIT.  Without a lot of details, its nearly impossible to guess what could be causing the error.

You can always hop onto the developer's mailing list and post patches for what you're working on.  There are already a lot of patches on the list that I need to merge into version 2.3.

      Dear Micheal,
I use OpenIT 2.2. I wan't use my new section like computers section.
      "Script included 24 files.
      Script executed in 0.1051230430603 seconds.

powered by OpenIT 2.2" et rien d'autre. Thanks Micheal for answer me and for intent to nderstand me.

    • Here's the translation I'm working from:

I would like to have the choice of columns to be posted like in Computers, I don't therefore create the file list.php because if not i must choose the posting from the list.  When I click on the section "Clients" on the menu, I arrive on the page "index.php?List=Clients", the posting is good, I can choose the columns to post and it works well.  But on that page i have just 1 errer message, next to the Reset List, "DB error: no such field." Next if I click on "Add New Client", I arrive at the page, " index.php?Edit=Client&ID=-1" but there I have a blank page, with: "Script included 24 files. Script executed in -.1051230430603 seconds.

      My reply:
Double check that your $listMeta column names match your columns names in your database.  That "debugLevel" code I posted above should help because it will show all of the queries being run.

Thanks for your help Michael, i have do what you tell me with the debug code, french :" j'ai réussi à                  enlever le message d'erreur "DB error : no such fields" c'etait un probleme avec un 's' dans le schema openit.ini, mais je ne peux toujours pas editer. Le HTML form ne se lance pas je crois, donc si tu peux m'aider sur cela, cela serai vraiment super sympa". You have understand the translation you was working before ? Thanks man. Have a good day :)

      • Here's the translation I got (from the same friend as before -- she's good!):

I succeeded in removing the error message "DB error: no such fields".  It was a problem with an 's' in the schema openit.ini, but i still can't edit.  the HTML form does not launch I believe, so if you could help me with that that would be really nice.

        My reply:

Make sure "Debug = True" in inc/settings.ini and try putting that debugLevel line of code at the top of your openit/modules/section_name/edit.php file.
I can't psychically debug your code from here, so if you want more help, I need more details.

I have do what you told me, I have put the debug line in top of openit/modules/section_name/edit.php,
but when i clic in Add New Client (like Add New Computer) i still have nothing. I don't have HTML form for edit, and if you got Msn Messenger, i will can speak with you and send you some Screenshot for see what i mean. Thanks a lot :) Merci, Gracias ;)
