I have seen the MDL loader creates an animation with all the textures in the file.
However, I'm using indirectly DevIL from Nebula engine which doesn't understand anything about animations (I load a texture using a Nebula function). So, I need to be able to load one of them using only the file-name (param of the Nebula function which call ilLoadImage).
I think an (easy) extension could be that the loader retrieves, for example, the third texture in the file when the name is "firstname.lastname@example.org" (count starts in 0).
Besides, I have implemented it (maybe too fast, though), so if the authors want to have a look, I can send the new il_mdl.c file.
