1) figure out in what directory your libssl.so.0.9.6 file is located 2) manually edit your /etc/ld.so.conf file to include results from #1 3) as root, run ldconfig On Wed, 2003-06-11 at 03:26, CHIN Fabien wrote: > hmmmm sorry i'm very noob in linux so can someone tell me what to do exactly > to perform these things : > > "add path of your libssl in /etc/ld.so.conf and then do ldconfig." > > thx for helping a newcomer :) > > regards > > Fabien Chin > > >>>> > > Otherwise, try downloading libssl source (www.openssl.org) and then compile > it.It should solve your problem:) > > --Hemant > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Tommy" <tommy@ra...> > To: <openh323gk-users@li...> > Sent: Thursday, May 01, 2003 9:24 AM > Subject: [Openh323gk-users] libssl.so.0.9.6 > > > > Hi, > > I was install on my redhat 7.2 version > > Pwlib 1.4.8 /root/pwlib > > Openh323 2.0.2 /root/openh323 > > Gk -2.0.2 /usr/local/src/openh323gk > > > > The problem is when I run gnugk -h there was an error like this : > > Gnugk : error while loading shared libraries : libssl.so.0.9.6: cannot > open shared object file : No such file or directory. > > > > 1. where should I locate this file ? Hi Tommy, You most likely just need to put the path for your library within the /etc/ld.so.conf file and run ldconfig. Rob. add path of your libssl in /etc/ld.so.conf and then do ldconfig. Otherwise, try downloading libssl source (www.openssl.org) and then compile it.It should solve your problem:) --Hemant ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tommy" <to...@ra...> To: <ope...@li...> Sent: Thursday, May 01, 2003 9:24 AM Subject: [Openh323gk-users] libssl.so.0.9.6 > Hi, > I was install on my redhat 7.2 version > Pwlib 1.4.8 /root/pwlib > Openh323 2.0.2 /root/openh323 > Gk -2.0.2 /usr/local/src/openh323gk > > The problem is when I run gnugk -h there was an error like this : > Gnugk : error while loading shared libraries : libssl.so.0.9.6: cannot open shared object file : No such file or directory. > > 1. where should I locate this file ?
