TripIt generates an RSS stream of travel information. It would be neat to be able to read this into OpenFlights and map the flights automatically.
You seem to have CSS turned off.
Please don't fill out this field.
On closer study, the RSS stream does not include flight information. That information is, however, available in semistructured form in the iCalender feed:
SUMMARY:QR639 SIN to DOH
DESCRIPTION:View and/or edit details in TripIt : http://www.tripit.com/trip/show/id/898987\n \n[Flight] 16/6/2008 Qatar Airways(QR) #639 dep SIN 03:20 arr DOH 06:10 [...]
Or in structured form via the TripIt API and its <AirSegment> type:
AirSegment is XML-parsable and also includes airplane type etc, so this seems preferable.
Is there any update in supporting TripIt integration? That'll be truly a quick and easy way to manage flights.
Disinto (gold elite)
Any update on this?
This would be truly awesome ...
