Dr. Lobo, Which installl image did you use to install OpenEV? The error you see above presumably indicates that the python executable being used is for an old version of Python (at least pre 2.1). Either you installed from a fairly old build, or for some reason the wrong Python is being picked up at runtime. The problem you encountered with ENVI support also indicates that either you have an older build (ENVI support was just added late in the winter) or the ENVI file you have isn't supported for some reason.
