    Why the heck is there a diagnosis "lookup" in the add medication to the medication list pop-up? It should be a drug lookup, no? This makes our software look silly! I thought at first that I just didn't understand what a drug is :>) Actually I don't want to know why, I want someone to remedy this.
    The same would apply to adding to the Allergy list. Both entries should accept only drugs associated with NDIC codes if we are ever to develop an internal system to warn on allergies. Does this require a drug database import such as RxNorm? (My humble apologies to any contributor I have offended with my criticism.) Jack Cahn MD
