Magic dump process

  • Hello!

Imagine I have an application, which uses a small part of OpenCyc's knowledge, i. e. it uses only a restricted set of predicates and constants defined in OpenCyc.

In order to save resources of the machine of the end user (where that application should be installed), I want to create a new version of the OpenCyc database, which contains ONLY the knowledge, which is used by my application.

    According to

    http://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=3333837

there is a mechanism in Cyc or OpenCyc called "magic dump process", which creates such a restricted database automatically.

Is "magic dump process" part of OpenCyc, or are there plans to put it into OpenCyc?

    Thanks in advance
