I'm looking for a microtheory that contains rules and assertions regarding the motivations for conflict. For example, rules about why conflict arises, why conflict continues, who is most likely to win a conflict, etc.
I have found the AgentGMt microtheory that deals a lot with conflict. However, most of the rules in this microtheory are (not surprisingly) common sense rules such as "A conflict has at least two opponents". I need rules and assertions that go one step beyond commonsense to talk about motivation and outcomes. I assume that CYC has, buried somewhere, such assertions since so much of the funding has been for a terrorist database.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
