  • openCONFIGURATOR is mainly dependent on the below list packages,

    • libxml2
    • tcl8.5-lib
    • tcl8.5
    • tclthread
    • libxss1
    • tk8.5-lib
    • tk8.5

Download the dependent packages from http://packages.ubuntu.com/ specific for the target ubuntu version (eg: for 13.04 - the name is saucy).

After all packages listed above are downlaoded, install them in the target system using software center or using terminal ( "sudo dpkg -i PACKAGE"; where PACKAGE refers to any one of the above listed dependencies) in the same sequence as listed.

After the successful installation of all the dependent packages, install the recent version of openCONFIGURATOR present in https://sourceforge.net/projects/openconf/

The all above procedures has been successfully tested in ubuntu 13.04.
