Hi, I tried using the BT micro for recording videos and it did not seem to work. The "use external micro" setting did not appear to do this.
Is it supposed to work?
Thanks
I'm not sure - the option controls the setting in http://developer.android.com/reference/android/media/MediaRecorder.AudioSource.html (changes it to "MIC"), but it's up to the device to control where that actually comes from. There is some discussion at http://forums.androidcentral.com/general-help-how/247223-how-record-audio-via-bluetooth-headset-not-phone-microphone.html , I don't know if you can get it working with any other apps.

You seem to have CSS turned off. Please don't fill out this field.
pretty sure it can be done working, CsipSimple is getting audio from bluetooth before compressing and sending it.
Regarding how, I found this: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4026002/how-to-record-sound-using-bluetooth-headset
It has been some time I looked at CsipSimple source but it might also help, the BT related code was compact.
Thanks for the link! Have added this to my TODO.
I use BTmono of samsung galaxy s4 and works perfectly
