What are the issues you are seeing regarding the signal? The internal clock is crap, USB is not the best connection for a kind of “realtime system”, and I preferred the USRP1 due to the fact that it can hold two TRX boards, but otherwise I can’t see any drawbacks. The daughterboards anyway are the same through all series, and the ADC resolution should be more enough for the relative simple GSM modulation scheme. So, when OpenBTS is the one and only job the little beast has to do and money does not grow on the trees in the backyard, I would go for the B100 without hesitation.
