Basically, Open Babel loads its file format shared libraries separately from the library. Probably the best solution would be to write to the SWIG list and find out if there's a global solution. (Strange that it's not an issue with Ruby, evidently.) As I've learned, adding new languages with SWIG is always an adventure. :-) Thanks guys! -Geoff |
