Hi:

When I try to step into my code I get the following: I
have tried this with perl binaries that I built as well as
ones downloaded from uwinnipeg.edu.

No DB::DB routine defined at C:/perl/5.8.0/lib/MSWin32-
x86-multi-thread/Cwd.pm line 151.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at

BEGIN failed--compilation aborted

    Ditto!

I have tried this with Active State 5.8 with similar results. I think
since the debug commands have changed. A new perl5db.pl file
has to be crafted to match the debug commands. However, I am
not crafty enough to do that my self. I hope some one who is
can read our posts and update so we can move up to perl 5.8.

    Help Please!

I get exactly the same thing when I try to compile the
HelloWorld.pl script that comes with the package.

I am running Windows XP with Active State Perl 5.8.0
    installed.

    Here is the error message:
No DB::DB routine defined at D:/bin/Perl/lib/Cwd.pm line 151.

I too face the same problem "No DB::DB routine defined ...."

If I run the script in one shot, there is no problem, but, if I try
to debug, it pops up this error. Let us hope someone comes
    with a solution.

    Hi,
I get the same under Win98 using Perl 5.8 using the Perl binary from Cygwin, and also under Win98 using ActivePerl 5.8.
I get a similar message using Perl 5.6 (Cygwin), and the result is the same, cant debug.
