I have found that it is not possible to get OIO working in Ubuntu linux dapper using sources. In the previous version called Breezy I got things goin with debs by apt-getting zope-psycopgDA etc. Except for zope 2.9.5, the new zope upto 2.10 can import the OIO. But there is a strange behaviour as I can add patients but only their names, not the dob, his or mis. I can add a form but not the question items to a form. I get an Error:Programming Error But this is very close to working obviously, and some small problem is causing it to fail in some areas. The problem maybe in the fact that I am using postgresql 8.1.4 Apparently there have been some changes made due to the finding of a security leak in previous postgreql (upto 8.1.3). This means that this version has problems working with psycopg as well (mentioned in the init.d mailing lists). I use the latest psycopg 2.0.5.1 Therefore, to get OIO to work, is it necessary to use postgresql 8.0 psycopg 1 (or does psycopg 2 work?) ANy comments on this?
