Open Exchange (OpEx)

Open Exchange is the experimental economics market simulator designed and developed by Marco De Luca over 2009-2010, while he was a Doctoral Researcher at University of Bristol, England.

Latest news

  • 08 July 2012: Added a missing assembly to the binaries package. AgentHost and SalesGUI crashed on startup, because an assembly was missing in the archive "OpEx1.1.zip". The assembly has now been added to both the application folders, and the problem has been fixed. Not that this bug only affects those who downloaded the binaries: building OpEx1.1 from the source code works fine. No changes have been made to the code.

  • 25 March 2012: Bug fixed in AA Agent. AA Agent would cross the spread if the relative spread is <= 0.15. The bug has been fixed in version 1.1. Please refer to ticket #1 in the "Tickets" section for more information.
