So I've read that H.261 supports only two frame sizes (qcif and cif).
However, I am unable to find where to set these dimensions. Right now, on
each of the two computers involved in the call, I am only showing the
"remote" video. On both computer's I'd like to change the size of the video
shown (so, I guess that's the remote video). I tried doing this in my
OpalManager init function (on both computers):
PVideoDevice::OpenArgs videoIn = GetVideoInputDevice();
videoIn.deviceName = "Venus USB2.0 Camera";
videoIn.width = 352;
videoIn.height = 288;
Please note that the video does indeed work. But if I change the dimensions
to 176 × 144, no change occurs.
Another question is: on which side will this change show? On the host
computer, or the remote computer.
My quest is to add in H.264, but after having some trouble, I decided to go
back a step and tackle this dimension problem with H.261.
Many many thanks everyone,
