PTLib only has the most basic wrapper around the json-c library. So, yes an external library is required.

We have plans for more extensive support using factories etc, but as it is not something we are in great need of, or being paid to do, it is pretty low priority right now.

Good day,

I'm just curious to know Ptlib has support for parsing JSON or are additional libraries required to be installed?

Thank you,

Josh
