you will find a new version of BSF4Rexx (external Rexx function library
to allow to interact with Java and exploit all of the functionality of
Java classes that are installed on any modern computer).
If you can then please download and test it (currently, it appears to be
bug-free). At the end of April this version is planned to be put into GA
(general availability) making it the official version.
It runs under ooRexx 3.x and the new, upcoming ooRexx 4.0.
Please read the "changes*.txt" files for information what has
(One major change is for developers who want to compile the DLL/shared
library under ooRexx 3.x and ooRexx 4.x, kudos to Jean-Louis Faucher for
spotting the needed changes!)
Please read the "readme*.txt" files to learn how to install BSF4Rexx and
the ooRexx (macro) support for OpenOffice. (After having read the readme
files installing is a matter of a few seconds, actually.)
P.S.: Future enhancements to BSF4Rexx will be available for the new,
upcoming ooRexx 4.0 only (as it will use the new OO-APIs) and will be
presented at this year's International Rexx Symposium in May in England
