Category: Interpreter Group: Windows Status: Open Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Michael K. J. Heihs (mheihs) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Precompilation of rexx-code Initial Comment: I use OOREXX on several machines and want to precompile a package of self-written classes. This works fine, but there is just a tiny problem with that. I run a mix of 32-bit and 64-bit W7 operating systems, and have to compile the code on two different machines for these architectures. My question is now: is this a restriction, or can I precompile the code to a "janus"-procompiled-code that can be distributed to 32-bit AND 64-bit architecture? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Rick McGuire (bigrixx) Date: 2011-03-01 06:45 Message: This is a restriction. The compiled code images must match the interpreter version and architecture that will be used to execute it. The other option is to use the 32-bit interpreter version on the 64-bit systems. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=684731&aid=3196000&group_id=119701 |
