Category: External Functions Group: v3.2.0 >Status: Closed Resolution: Accepted Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Mark Miesfeld (miesfeld) Assigned to: Mark Miesfeld (miesfeld) Summary: ooDialog - add the ability to fetch System Metrics Initial Comment: The Windows API provides a way to query a number of system values, things like the height of a window title bar, the width of a scrollbar, the number of buttons the mouse has, etc. These values are provided to make it easier to write system independent GUIs. ooDialog should provide a way for the programmer to query these values. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Mark Miesfeld (miesfeld) Date: 2007-10-12 21:55 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=191588 Originator: YES Committed revision 951. This commit adds the public routine: SystemMetrics() It can be used, like the other public routines, in any ooRexx program by including oodPlain.cls. The commit also adds a method to the base dialog: GetSystemMetrics() that can be used to query the system metrics. Both the public routine and the method are fucntionally equivalent. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=684733&aid=1812657&group_id=119701 |
