Category: Installation Group: Windows Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Hagrinas (hagrinas) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: UnInstaller deletes unrelated files Initial Comment: When removing ooRexx, everything in the program files\oorexx directory tree is deleted, instead of just those items installed by the installer. It would be nice if the uninstaller deleted only what was part of the package, so any additional sample scripts, documentation, user added class files, or other user added content do not get wiped out. Justification: Deleting only what was installed is a common practice with many uninstallers, and others prompt the user before wiping out additional files, so it would be consistent with the expectations of many users. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=684733&aid=1722389&group_id=119701 |
