The ordered collections need some sort of sorting framework. Something like that implemented by the Java Array class would be ideal, where you can sort objects that are Comparable (i.e., implement a particular interface) or you can provide a Comparator object that performs the item comparisons based on its own rules for how the comparisons should be performed.

The array class has had sort(), sortWith(), stableSort(), and stableSortWith() methods added. Also, this has added compareTo() and caselessCompareTo() methods to string, and introduced the Comparable and Comparator mixin classes, plus some concrete comparator functions for caseless string sorting and column string sorting.
