I have two large arrays which each have all unique items. When I create a third array that is a union of the two, the new array has duplicate items. According to the UNION method description for ordered collections, there should not be unique items. Even small arrays fail.

An array is a collection type that allows duplicate items (as do all of the ordered collections). Therefore the rules for collections with duplicates are used for performing the union as described in section 5.3.19.3 of the ooRexx reference.
