When a Rexx script is invoked from the command line, any leading blanks in it's arguments are stripped, as always.
When a Rexx script is invoked from a what I'll call it's subcommand interface, no leading blanks are stripped, as always -- BUT new in R4 RC1, one is always added. For example, a script which consists of the following single statement:
say '"'arg(1)'"'
when invoked with argument "xx" now will say:
" xx"
whereas previously it would say:
"xx"

Unfortunately I see this in my old LPEX editor which uses Rexx as it's macro language and interfaces to ooRexx in some way unbeknownst to me. If you think this is unique to LPEX, just close this and I'll modify my scripts to handle this. :-)

Running REXX-ooRexx_4.0.0(MT) 6.03 15 Jul 2009 in Vista.
