    Chris, this code will NOT work if compiled in 64-bit mode,
    which is what I suspect the problem is. It can only work if
    forced to compile in 31-bit mode.

    David,

    I believe you have ooRexx 4.0.0 compiled and working on s390x correct? If so, I think we should close this as "out of date" don't you?
